This is another classic song. I re-discovered this fun song while on a road-trip with friends to go hiking. The mix CD we were listening to was average, but when this song came on, we were all singing. This song can please pretty much anybody, and is a perfect upbeat song for road-trips.

"Somebody to Love" by Queen

This song is a classic song I grew up listening to. It is creative, but also fun, and definitely unique. It was also redone (I believe) by the popular TV Show 'Glee'. This song is an upbeat song focused around the question 'Can anybody find me somebody to love?'

Today's Song
"Come See" by Michael W. Smith

This song is another 'moving' song. The opening chords are what get me the most. I absolutely love them, and all of the instrumental stuff in this song. This is also a great song to blast on the radio while you're driving alone (definitely did that today). Michael W. Smith invites people to 'Come See' what Christianity/Jesus is about it this song - no matter where you are in life. And that is beautiful.

"You Are Loved (Don't Give Up) by Josh Groban

Josh Groban is amazing - every song of his I have heard I instantly fall in love with. After hearing his Christmas CD (which is also amazing), my sisters and I stumbled across this song, and it is now one of my favorites of his. The chorus is moving and unique - it is also fun to sing along to. This song basically affirms that everyone is worth something!

What Life Would Be Like

'What Life Would Be Like' by Big Daddy Weave

I discovered this song while listening to the 'WOW 2010' CD. This song came on, and I instantly caught on. After playing it a few times, the chorus is sung easily, and the words are really moving. Great for singing to in the car.

The goal of this blog is going to be to present a song a day. I'll give my opinion on them, and you can get exposed to new music - well, relatively - they still may be 'old' songs.

Today's song
'Let it Be' by the Beatles

I love this song! It always starts playing when I'm super stressed out, and it reminds me to just 'Let it Be'. Just the opening chords make my heart happy. This song kept playing at the end of last semster - the day I didn't get a job I wanted, and during the rush of finals. It's always worth just sitting down and listening to this song to calm the soul.
